4 Stars Smaller than when bought at CVS, but very pretty
These globes do the job. I use two of them for a large plant. My plants are out in the Florida heat/sun so I fill up the globes daily and they keep my vines flowering beautifully.

5 Stars Very convinient !!
I use this globe for my medium-sized spider plant. I made a hole in the soil with a chopstick so that I could insert the shaft into the soil easily. I was worried that it would over-watered the plant, because the globe was empty just within 3-4 hours. But the second time, the water in the globe lasted for 6 days in a 75-80 degrees room! My plant looks very healthy, the leaves look very shiny. It’s easy to clean too. If there’s soil stuck in the shaft, I just push the dirt in w/ a chopstick, and wash it out w/ water.

3 Stars I like them but…
These are pretty and work well for small plants but you may need multiples if plant is in anything bigger than 6″ pot. Always water plant thoroughly then refill and replace aqua globe. Depending on the plant and time of year -among other factors- water may last 3 or 4 days. I have found that they DO NOT WORK WELL FOR SUCCULENTS. Not sure why; possibly because the plants water requirements are so low that it allows soil in shaft to completely dry before the plant starts to pull water… Don’t really know.

The shaft does get clogged with dirt and you’ll need patience in order to refill the globe. I’ll confess that most of the time it’s patience I don’t have. I usually end up just watering the plant rather than taking the globe out, unclogging it, getting a bunch of dirt in my sink, then having to slowly refill.

Also, the frequent insertion, extraction and reinsertion of the aqua globe may loosen soil and disrupt roots.

In short, most of the time I have pretty, but empty, aqua globes, decorating, but not really watering my plants

5 Stars Great Item. Looks Great!
The globes work just exactly as described. They are beautiful and no two globes are the same since they are hand blown. They look great in any plant. I did not have a problem with them getting clogged. I used a medium sized sharpie marker to make the “pilot hole” and then just stuck the globe in and Voila!

2 Stars Ehhh…
To start, these things are very pretty, the hand blown patterns are very unique from bulb to bulb. However since they’re hand blown not only are each of them different in color patterns but also in the thickness of the stem inside. The pack I had ordered came with one normal sized stem and the other came with a stem that was near impossible to “easily fill” unless I trickled water down into the bulb VERY slowly. I suppose they watered well enough but the amount of water used seems more or less proportionate to the density of your soil so if you have your plants newly potted then they might consume water(or waste, I honestly couldn’t tell) in about a day. I recommend this only as a cheapass alternative to asking a friend to come over to water your plants when you’re away.

After watching the infomercial on these hooks I had to try them. They have worked great on all of the pictures I have hung up. They are quick and easy to use, my 13 yr old daughter even hung her own pictures in her room. I haven’t hung anything really heavy and don’t know that I would but for simple picture hanging I’ve been very satisfied!

1 Star Know your walls
If you are going to buy this product make sure that your walls are really thin. Never in the commercial do they tell you that if you have medium-strong walls (even if they sound like they are hollow), the hook wont go in. This buy can be a total loss of money.

These are the most amazing things i have ever owned! they work just like they show on the commercial!!! MUST HAVE

1 Star Buy screws…
These things are terrible. I had one go in easily and work fine, but the other 3 I’ve tried I still can’t get to work. The big problem is these hooks need about a 6″ diameter circle behind the wall from wherever you screw them, as they need to twist. They also, of course, don’t go through studs.

Now I have 3 holes in my wall, one of them MUCH larger than a screw hole, and still no hook. I also have several cuts on my hand from trying to push these damn things in. Think of bending sharp clothes hangers, which is exactly all these are.

With screws I would have been done in 2 minutes, now I’ve spent about 20 and have one hook in. Throwing the rest out, going to buy some $0.50 screws instead. Horrible product in every way, expect under rare conditions where they are in the perfect spot to work (which is rarely ever centered).

5 Stars useful in owens corning basement system
I have an Owens Corning basement system, and there are no drywall or studs. To hang shelving, the panels have to be removed and wood studs installed, which the company says costs $125. I bought these Hercules Hooks for $15 and put up the shelves and my stereo speakers and after a month they are still holding up well. I have placed some satellite speakers on the shelving, and I’d estimate the weight at 10-12 lbs. The main speakers are probably in the same range, weight-wise. I’m very happy with the results.

2 Stars NOODLEHEAD SCHMOODLEHEAD
I have some odd-ball places to water on my property so decided to give the Noodlehead Sprinkler a try.

As someone else mentioned it is tiresome changing the noodles for each application. Perhaps it would be fine mounted permanently & dedicated to one particular area. I just don’t use it that way. In fact…I just don’t use it at all.

5 Stars Wish I had invented it.
Really a great idea. Placed three across the front of the house and directed each noodle to cover every plant. Now we don’t have to stand there with a hose to water the plants. You come back 20 minutes later turn the hose off and you’re done.

4 Stars A good solution for small yards, odd-shaped areas
I have a small yard with several triangular flower beds, and noodleheads have been an excellent solution for me. I pair them with snap-on connectors, and simply move the hose (on a timer) from noodlehead to noodlehead. I haven’t had any trouble with the black wands moving — once I have them in a pattern, they stay here.

The noodleheads last well — much better than the soaker hoses that tend to degrade after two years.
