User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars I use mine daily.
My son loves pasta so we use this daily. Don’t overcook the pasta and drain immediately. We love it.

5 Stars Worry-Free Time Saver
What a time saver! Just put recommended amount of water & pasta, place it in the microwave, and go do other things. No waiting for a big pot of water to boil, no stirring so the pasta won’t stick to the bottom of the pot or to each other, and no watching the clock. I prepare my salad or veggies or whatever else I am making while the pasta is cooking. I do taste the pasta when the time is up to make sure it’s as al dente as I like it, but it’s never wrong!!! Veggies are delish, too. Bought these items for my four daughters as well as for myself. We love this product.

1 Star horrid cooker
never gets hot enough to boil water – therefore the pasta comes out starchy and mushy… nasty…plus i ordered direct from the distributer – ended up paying around 30 each for 2 of them (shipping and “handling”) – i will never do that again either. i have a large microwave that works fine for everything else.

1 Star Nice color , but NOT as good or as EASY as Fasta Pasta
I tried this as a gift, after using the vastly superior ( and less expensive) Fasta Pasta for years.

The concept is similar to the Fasta Pasta unit, I suppose- but the plastic is not of the same quality, NOR is it made in the USA as Fasta Pasta is.

The size of the product is a problem too– it is really too tall for a typical microwave. It does fit in mine, barely. NOT EASY.

Cooking pasta in it, tends to result in hard edges . I did find the unit to be acceptable cooking corn on the cob. That being said, Amazon has BETTER products to do that.

Bottom line: save yourself angst–the Fasta Pasta product is better, easier to use, and creates a better result- this is a ‘copy’ that is not as good.

4 Stars Worth the money
I do advise people to read the instructions. “A box” of pasta may be six servings or eight, which means different amounts of water. And add the water after the pasta not before. And cool the pasta immediately to prevent overcooking. Yes, it takes longer in the microwave, but if you’re an absent-minded cook like I am — especially when I’m getting ready for guests — it’s easy to have a boil-over mess. This is fairly foolproof. And, in the summertime, a stock pot full of boiling water can really turn your kitchen into a swamp.

Also, I freeze pasta in storage bags because it’s great to have some on hand for guests. Making three batches, one shells and two farfalles, was a snap.

I went over the water level markings with a red permanent marker so they’re easier to read.
