The Furminator works. It gets piles of hair out of your pet, without spending a tremendous amount of time doing it. It’s well worth the money.

I’ve only used this product one time–the day before my puppy’s “graduation”. I was pleasantly surprised at the results on this puppy who likes to roll around in the grass and whatever else is out there.

i was very sceptic about a waterless bathing product, for we always link bath and water. but this product is really amazing. i own a very energetic doberman puppy and all his energy shows in how much dirt he collects! i used this shampoo for first on a cloudy wet day, but it was not an obstacle to bath my dog and let him clean -really clean- with a nice smell and without the troubles of water bathing and wetness. of course, you may not use this product to replace water bathing, but you can considerably reduce the baths that must pets do not like or even do not need as often as we like to give them, CONTROLLING THE DE-SHEDDING TROUBLES -a promise that this product fulfill to perfection- and without worrying for secondary reactions (as my dog has a sensitive skin) and you get all those benefits in few minutes. it’s wonderful! ah! and his coat shines great!

4 Stars A bit too perfume-y
I originally bought this for my mom’s Husky along with the shampoo. After a month, i saw that this waterless shampoo/conditioner was still in its original shrink wrap, though the shampoo was half gone, so I decided to take it home for my Yorkie. Yes, I realize that Yorkies don’t shed but after going to the dog park, she pretty much smells like dried up dog drool.

I used this spray last night because it was late when I got home and I was too tired to wash her. It works as expected, but my Ruby squirmed more than usual, as if she hated it more than an actual warm shower. It definitely got rid of alll traces of dog park smells and left her coat shiny but I found it to be too strong and perfume-y for my taste. I was really hoping it would smell more like the Pina Colada-scented Furminator shampoo!

5 Stars Easy, smells & feels great!
I love my corgi but hate wet dog smell! He’s not a terrible bather but I would prefer having to bathe him every so often instead of every time he gets a bit smelly. I also want to take him swimming often, so I was seriously on the hunt for a good waterless shampoo. I also have a Furminator (since corgis can shed heavily when they’re dropping their undercoat) and while I haven’t used the waterless shampoo long enough to determine if it really does contribute to less shedding, I figured why not go with the Furminator “family” of products.

I love how easy the bottle sprayer works. It is hard enough to wrangle a pet at times without wrestling with a fatiguing sprayer, but the pump on the bottle works almost effortlessly. The smell is fantastic and I was surprised at how effective of a surfactant this is. It got just a bit foamy when I worked it into my dog’s coat and got very good coverage.

I really look forward to using it on my cat who I have not bathed in years, when he last sunk a claw deep into my shoulder in an effort to climb me like a tree to avoid the water.

I have no qualms about either of my pets licking off this stuff. I didn’t even have to wash my hands afterwards, they felt so soft and silky, not all dry like some waterless alcohol-based cleansers can be, nor all soapy and basic like regular shampoo. Really awesome stuff, I’ll definitely be using this a lot!
